Independence Hotel Resort & Spa Sihanoukville, Sihanoukville

My stay at the hotel was a slice of paradise, with breathtaking views and a sanctuary-like atmosphere. The spacious villa and stunning infinity pool were highlights, providing a perfect family retreat. However, I was disappointed by the experience outside the hotel, as Sihanoukville itself has seen better days. While the relaxing environment and great dining options made my stay worthwhile, the lack of proper roads and overwhelming construction nearby were drawbacks.

I stayed at the hotel for a month and had quite a mixed experience. While the views around the hotel were beautiful and the staff showed genuine care, there were several drawbacks such as inconsistent electricity, poor Wi-Fi, and noisy air conditioning. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were not very varied. Overall, I would say it’s a decent place to stay given the circumstances but definitely needs improvements.
